Elizabeth began riding when she was seven years old in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Although Elizabeth specializes in hunter jumpers, she has a background in dressage, eventing, and western riding. While attending college Elizabeth was a working student for several barns in the South East. She traveled to many shows such as WEF, Pony Finals, Aiken, and the Georgia International Horse Park.

In 2015 Elizabeth trained for Second Stride in Louisville Kentucky, a non profit that retrains and re homes off track thoroughbreds. In early 2016 Elizabeth relocated to New Hampshire where she began teaching for two farms in Maine and New Hampshire, including co-coaching the Lucky Clover IEA team.

Elizabeth accepted the role for assistant trainer for Over the Oxer Equestrian with Deanna Kravetz in Dover New Hampshire. While there she trained under Scott Laffey, a USEF licensed judge, and taught clients of all ages and abilities.

Elizabeth took over Riverbend Equestrian Center in 2022 and has built up a program catering to amateur and junior clients pursuing success in the hunter and jumper divisions. Night and Day Riding offers an array of services including full training, coaching and sales for clients located in Greenville South Carolina.

Elizabeth has ridden a vast array of green to made horses and enjoys imparting her knowledge with others so that they can achieve success either in the show ring or out. Because of her diverse riding background she can relate to students who have a history in a different style of riding and easily transitions her clients to the world of hunter jumpers. Elizabeth believes that everyone should seek continued education and regularly rides with other trainers, keeps up with the USHJA and attends clinics both as a rider and auditor.

Horses that Elizabeth has trained have gone on to a variety of careers including the hunters, eventing, jumpers, equitation and lesson programs. Elizabeth's goal is to create safe and educated mounts that are easy to handle both on and off the ground and are happy to work. Elizabeth believes that taking the time to set the proper foundation will lead to greater success and a more willing partner.
